چکیده
ObjectiveThe study objective was to explore the feasibility and safety of totally endoscopic resection a left ventricular tumor through small chest incisions without robotic assistance.MethodsFour patients with (1 papillary fibroelastoma, 1 lipoma, 2 myxomas) underwent surgery peripheral cardiopulmonary bypass. The mean age 58 ± 15 years. There were 3 female male patient. Through 3-port in right chest, pericardiotomy, bicaval cannulation, cardiac arrest, atriotomy, performed under thoracoscopy.ResultsAll had successful resections. bypass aortic crossclamp times 110 14 minutes 19 minutes, respectively. length stay intensive care unit 38 27 hours. no mortalities or complications this cohort. Patients discharged 7 days after operation. Transthoracic echocardiography showed that completely removed any residue months surgery.ConclusionsTotally robotically assisted surgical system is feasible reproducible. This technique could minimize trauma achieves complete resection.

Thoracoscopic surgical management of esophageal benign tumor
Background Benign esophageal tumors are rare; complete surgical resection is essential for the management of the submucosal tumors. Larger, symptomatic, or non-diagnostic lesions should be resected for both diagnostic and therapeutic indications. VATS has become a popular treatment in the thoracic surgery, however thoracoscopic esophageal surgery may lead to increased operative complications. W...
متن کاملThoracoscopic resection of bulky intrathoracic benign lesions.
BACKGROUND Video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) is used for the diagnosis and treatment of some mediastinal lesions. However, large-size tumours are usually approached by thoracotomy or sternotomy. We report our experience of a full thoracoscopic approach for bulky intrathoracic lesions. METHODS From November 2002 to March 2007, 14 patients with a bulky intrathoracic mass were referred for ...

Ann Cardiothorac Surg 2014;3(2):197-201 www.annalscts.com With continued growing interest in sublobar resections from the international surgical community (1,2), mastering thoracoscopic segmentectomy is an important challenge for the surgeon. With respect to sublobar resections of the left upper lobe, it is now considered that for T1 tumors, a lingual-sparing upper lobectomy is oncologically eq...
متن کاملCardiac autotransplantation for surgical resection of a primary malignant left ventricular tumor.
Primary cardiac sarcomas are rare. In such tumors, surgical resection is sometimes considered necessary to correct obstruction of flow caused by the tumor and to accomplish complete resection. The anatomic difficulties associated with large, primary, intracavitary left-sided sarcomas have led us to use cardiac explantation, ex vivo tumor resection, and cardiac autotransplantation to meet the an...
متن کاملTherapeutic video-assisted thoracoscopic surgical resection of colorectal pulmonary metastases.
OBJECTIVE Careful patient selection is vital when video-assisted thoracoscopic surgical (VATS) therapeutic pulmonary metastasectomy of colorectal carcinoma is considered. Complete resection of all metastatic disease remains a vital concept. We reviewed our VATS experience for therapeutic metastasectomy of peripheral colorectal pulmonary metastases. METHODS Over 90 months, therapeutic VATS met...
